The Encounter Chapter 13 PreviewChapter 13 (Preview Only)
There was only one thing on my mind: get as far away from society as possible. There is no way that I would be living in a world like this anymore; in fact, I would prefer to live in a place with beings that I actually trust.
"If I stay here any longer, everyone will know that I am a Latios," I told Latias.
"I know that, but..." Latias started until I cut in.
"Latias, we have no choice but to leave!"
"But we all have a choice! Do you not understand?! We have a choice of what to do in our lives!"
"But did you you ever think about the factors of life that can make some choices go away?!"
"I...Uh...no. No I did not.
I look at Latias, and I had realized that the events so far today have caused my tempers to flare to an all-time high.
"Look, Latias, I am sorry for yelling at you. I should not take my anger out directly at you because of a little short timeframe," I told Latias with

"WHAT IN THE WORLD?!" the security guard exclaimed.
"Calm down! We are the same two people you brought into your office a little while back!" I insisted using telepathy.
"DAMN! Why did you have to scare me like that?! You could have given me a heart attack, literally!"
"Well, I did not mean to scare you at all! I had no intentional purpose to scare you!"
I then returned to my human form as well as Latias.
"Sir, I do not want you to speak about this to anyone," I told the security guard with concern in my voice. "If any word goes out at all, I will have no place to stay safe. The world is not ready to know about the existence of parallel world at this time."
"Well, if you put it that way, then I will keep it a secret; even I ever catch you doing anything from either on
The Encounter Christmas SpecialThe EncounterA Seasons Greetings Special
(A/N: This story takes place in the author's perspective (which is I, Ryan Cooley (who is not a Latios)))
The day was young, and I woke up bright and early to see the sun starting to rise into the morning sky. It was Christmas Day, and I was looking forward to this day for the past two weeks to come like any other kid my age. I headed downstairs to wake-up my Cockatiel, Sunshine.
After I uncovered my bird's cage, I whispered to him, "Merry Christmas, Sunshine."
Sunshine cocked his head and then he hissed, which I still do not understand why he did that. I then proceeded back to the staircase when I noticed an unexplained feeling of me being followed by someone. I turned around, and I saw nobody; not even one of my siblings or any of my three cats.
"Huh. For second there, I thought that someone was behind me," I whispered softly to myself.
I turned back around to see that the

I looked down at my watch, and I was amazed when I saw that the time was 6:00 AM! I knew that my dad would be heading to my room at this time because I never set the alarm clock last night due to me being in Altomare! If only I did not take my time with things back when I was in the Secret Garden in Altomare, I would be back earlier than the current time!
"Latias, listen, we do not have a lot of time! We need to teleport to my room right now!" I whispered to Latias just to not literally wake up the whole neighborhood.
"I would like to be inside again. Besides, I do not mind being inside with you. Just remember: wherever you go, I go," Latias articulated in a mischievous manner.
"Okay," I responded slowly and uneasily.
We then managed to teleport into my room just in time be

"Today is definitely going to be another usual day," the security guard said to himself.
He reached over for his cup of coffee, grabbed it, and took a small sip out of the coffee while looking at the display monitor at the same time. Suddenly, he saw two shadows appear out of nowhere causing him to gulp down a large amount of his coffee along with a large amount of air causing him to almost choke.
"What in the world?" the security guard asked himself while gasping for air and turning the camera to face where the two shadows came from.
As he turned the camera, he thought he saw the shapes of the shadow go from bird-like creatures to human, but he could not be certain. He repositioned the camera to where he could see the two people standing there co
I was bored...There are times where we need change to be brought forth in front of all to see; however, no matter how much change we demand, only a fractoral of a percentage of change is all that is generally supplied to the people. No matter the rise or fall for the demand of change, only little change is ever given, and on some rare occasions, change can be over supplied in the time of little change that is needed or in a time that change is highly needed. Therefore, change is a constant variation that acts like it's own economical system in the form of both supply-side and demand-side economics that varies not only on a daily basis, but also on a weekly, perhaps a monthly or even a yearly basis for change to occur. In general theory of many economists, they believe that change is relected on the basis of how the economy is doing. No matter where people live, we all demand a change in a various number of possibilities.
The Encounter Ch. 10Chapter 10Latios Reborn
I woke up in a cold sweat in a place that is pitch-black and nobody else was nearby to help me. The only thing that I could see was fog or mist. I knew exactly what to do at a time like this.
"I'm swimming in the smoke of the bridges I have burned, so don't apologize, I'm losing what I don't deserve! It's in the blackened bones of the bridges I have burned, so don't apologize, I'm losing what I don't deserve," I sang slowly. "What I don't deserve." (A/N: Lyrics are from "Fallout" by Linkin Park.)
I knew that either I could be dead or I could be unconscious. I did not know where to go or what to do; I was both depressed and hopeless.
"I think I am dead," I told myself emotionlessly. "I have nowhere to go, and nothing to do. My life is officially over for good."
"You are not dead," a voice answ
A Bloody, Stupid Miracle The day we’d cured the human condition was the day I put a bullet through my head and didn’t die. It was also the day I realized how scared I actually was of death, and after hours of muscle ache from holding that gauze against my open skull, after the wound closed and everything went back to normal, I had myself a good old-fashioned brainstorm. How ironic.
But when summer came, everything had fallen to shit. The air scorched my skin and parched my tongue every time I took a breath. The sun glared down on a rapidly-collapsing world, full of the undying bastard children of cruelty and misfortune. What was one to do when their cells regenerated faster than they decomposed?
My feet hit the pavement, now littered with jagged bits of glass to snap at my toes, thoroughly baked by the blazing ball of bitter disdain high overhead. Today was worse than yesterday. Though I’d often wondered the purpose of it anymore, I
