Prologue
10 AM EST - Location Disclosed

"We are ready for transport, sir," one man said

"Excellent.  Prepare our conquest to the real world.  I want to make sure nobody, even people on the real world, find out about this," the leader of an organization replied.

"They already know, sir.  It was playing in the transit bays," the man replied.

The leader stood up from his desk and went over to the other man.  "Do that again, and you will be mopping the floors for one month!" the leader yelled.

The man was stunned.  "I...uh...Yes, sir!" he replied nervously.

'All cargo units report to Transit Bay 3,' the loudspeaker announced.

The troops involved then got into military transport helicopters.  "All right!  When we travel between dimensions, you must not be roaming the copter freely until we exit the other end of the dimension portal.  Do you understand?" a commander told the troops in the copter.

"Yes, sir!" the troops replied in unison.

"Lets rock-n-roll boys," the commander said.

Chapter 1 - An Average Day
Saturday, 7 AM EST - Mackinaw City, Michigan

I was in the middle of a dream about being in a Call of Duty-type of situation until my alarm went off catching my attention.

"Kyle Gratiot, so help me, if you do not wake up this minute, you will be late for school," my mom yelled from the kitchen downstairs.

"There is no school mom, it is Saturday!" I exclaimed.  "Do not tell me you were joking because I know you were," I replied from my room trying not to yell.  I grabbed my iPod and turned it on to find out that it started to play "New Divide" by Linkin Park.

I decided that in best interest of me that I go downstairs for breakfast.  I saw that my mom had left a note for me.  It said: 'Be right back.  Out of milk to make waffles. -Mom'.  Huh.  Apparently, she was right because I checked in the fridge, and there was no milk whatsoever.  Fortunately, my mom had not even started making the waffles.  She checked milk off on short and thin stick note.

My mom does when she is cooking because if she runs out of an ingredient, she writes it down, and makes a note if it was partially completed or fully completed.

Anyways, I was walking outside to get the paper, and when I turned around, I saw something coming down from the sky.

"Oh my!  I hope my parents have asteroid insurance!" I yelled in horror. "I hope this is not going to be the end of days because if it is, I am out of here!"

I took a closer look though only to see it was not an asteroid, but a creature instead.  How in the world could something be falling from the sky?  I could not tell what species it was because it was all distant.  However, things got worse when the path of the object crashed down in my backyard.

"What in the world?!" I yelled out of plain astonishment and fear.  "Now how am I going to explain all of this to my parents?"

Just then, my mother pulled up into the driveway.

"WHAT WAS THAT?!" my mom asked me in angry tone.

"Mom, do NOT get mad at me!" I said innocently.  "All I saw was a comet or something crash into our backyard!"

"I just hope it is not one of those military test experiments that have failed!" my mom yelled as she was walking into the house.  I then decide to go to the backyard and investigate what was going on.

Chapter 2 - First Encounter
Saturday, 8:37 EST - Mackinaw City, Michigan

I approached the backyard with caution.  I opened the backyard gate; I was speechless when I opened it.  All over the backyard, there were smoldering pieces of wood everywhere.  I knew that the play-set from when I was young got destroyed, but I did not care since I was the only child.  I slowly approached the wreckage just to find something that would never exist in my world:  a young Lugia was one the ground and it seemed to be in bad pain.

"Oh my...what to do...what to do?" I asked myself.

An idea then popped into my head and I immediately with high caution moved closer to the sleeping baby Lugia.  He looked so innocent and cute that, figuratively, I wanted to care for him as if he was one of my own.

As I moved closer, its eyes opened and it looked at me with a scared look on its face.  "Don't worry, I will not hurt you.  However, I will make sure that whoever did this to you makes sure they understand your what you are going through," I told the young Lugia.  Then, I was shocked that the Lugia actually nodded in agreement.

"You can understand me!" I exclaimed.  "What else can you do?!"

"I can talk and/or communicate telepathically to you," the Lugia told me telepathically.

"Wow!  Boy, I wish I had that!" I said in excitement.  I did not want to lose a once in a lifetime chance to meet an actual living Lugia!

Chapter 3 - Team Rocket Appears
Saturday, 9 AM EST - Mackinaw City, Michigan

Suddenly, a grabbing claw came out of nowhere and snatched up the Lugia.  I looked up, and I immediately recognized that balloon!  It was Team Rocket, but what are they doing here in the real world.  My mom came out of the house and became furious with the Team Rocket trio.

"WHAT ON EARTH DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING TEAM ROCKET?!  I KNOW YOU UP TO NO GOOD, BUT I AM STILL FINDING OUT HOW YOU GOT HERE!" I yelled at the top of my lungs at Team Rocket members.

"Seems like a new twerp, but has no..." a Meowth said.

"But has no what?" James, a purple haired man asked the Meowth.

"He has no Pokémon!" a boy replied coming through the back gate.  "Staraptor, use your Ariel Ace to cut the claw off and then pop the balloon!" he said as he threw out what appeared to be a Pokeball.

The creature came out and it did what it was told.  It then cut the rope holding the arm to hold the young Lugia and then popped the balloon.

"Thanks," I told the boy.

"No problem!  My names Ash, and this is my partner Pikachu!" Ash replied.

Then, I realized that there were more people than I expected there to be.  There was also a man and a young girl with what looked like a penguin following alongside her.

"I'm Brock, and I want to be a Pokémon Breeder," Brock told me.  Then he rushed over to my mother and went into a proposing position.

"In all my...ACK!" Brock could all say until a frog took him away.

"Uhh..." I said with a puzzled look on my face.

"Don't worry, it happens when he encounters a woman that he has never met.  I am Dawn, by the way, and this is Piplup!" Dawn told me.

"Nice to meet you.  I'm Kyle Gratiot," I replied.  "So, how did you get here?"

"We are still trying to figure that out," Ash replied.  "First, we were at the Team Rocket headquarters in Kanto and the next thing, we ended up here in this area.  So, where are we?"

"Your current location is Mackinaw City, Michigan," I replied.

"Where is that to be exact?" Brock asked in a confused manner.

"Let me guess:  you guys and gals came from the Pokémon World?" I asked.

"Yes.  Why do you ask?" Dawn asked.

"Well, I am afraid you crossed dimensions without Palkia.  The transporter must have created an artificial dimensional rift to travel between dimensions by Team Rocket," I told them.

I was then interrupted by an old man coming into the backyard.

Chapter 4 - Professor Oak
Saturday, 11AM EDT - Mackinaw City, Michigan

"There you are Ash!  I have been looking all over for you!" the old man said.

"Excuse me, but who are you?" I asked with curiosity in my voice.

"Allow me to introduce myself.  I am Professor Oak of the Pokémon Research Center in Kanto.  And, your name is?". Prof. Oak asked.

"I am Kyle Gratiot," I told him.

"Well, nice to meet you, Kyle," Prof. Oak replied.

"Excuse me for a moment, but I need to tend to something!" I told him.

He then saw me run back to the Lugia.  "Wait!  You might get hurt!" Prof. Oak warned.

"It did not harm me when I found it about two hours ago," I replied.  "Besides, I think I became its friend!" The baby Lugia then came up to me and nuzzled my cheek, which made me, laugh.

'Silver happy!' the Lugia told me.

"So that what your name is!" I exclaimed.  "Well, Silver, I guess you and I are now best friends, and that's for sure!"

"Well, it seems like you have a Pokémon with you, so you are going to need this," Prof. Oak told me handing me a device at the same time.  "It is called a Pokémon Encyclopedia, or PokeDex for short.  This is the updated version that allows you to even take data from the four known regions of Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh.  It will track all of the data you will need for each Pokémon.  Also, here are five Ultra Balls and one Master Ball for Silver, unless if Silver does not want to be caught."

'Silver want to partner with Kyle!  Silver do not want to be captured now,' Silver replied to Prof. Oak.

"Well, just keep the Pokeballs in case if you encounter a wild Pokémon.  However, the Pokémon here might not be regular Pokémon at all, so I will take the Ultra Balks off of your hands and give you instead five Master Balls so that you may capture the other Legendaries easily if they are wondering."

"I think I am ready now!  However, what am I going to do about my school?  I cannot just leave my friends behind?" I asked Prof. Oak.

"They may tag along with you, but just contact me at this phone number so that I can help them become Pokémon Trainers as well," Prof. Oak replied.

Chapter 5 - The Journey Begins
Saturday, Noon - Mackinaw City, Michigan

I cannot wait to encounter Pokémon for the first time.  Yes, I know this is the Real World, but now since Team Rocket opened a portal, Pokémon are now entering the world.

As Prof. Oak was leaving, I asked him a couple of last minute questions.

"What happens if I run out of Pokeballs?  What happens if I used all six Pokeballs and U capture more?" I asked.

"Maybe you should carry a backpack and label your Pokeballs of what is inside them.  If you run out of Pokeballs, I am sure you can call me and buy them with your currency," Prof. Oak replied.

"Thank you, Professor," I told him.

After he left, I waved to Ash, Dawn, and Brock as they set out to track down Team Rocket.

Just after they left, a Pokémon appeared, and to my surprise, it was another Lugia.  However, I realized that this was Lugia himself.

'Ah...You must be Kyle.  Silver told me about how you saved him from Team Rocket,' Lugia told me telepathically.

"Your welcome.  I care for Pokémon as if they were exactly like my friends.  I care for them, and show them respect, and..." I said before I was cut off.

'Which is why I am allowing you to capture both me and my son,' Lugia replied.

"Seriously?!" I asked.

'Yes.  Is there anything wrong?' Lugia asked.

"Yes because I have not yet met a Pokémon that asked me to capture it yet," I replied.

'In that case, we must be the first in line,' Lugia replied.

"Alright then.  Here goes nothing!" I said as I threw two of my Master Balls at both of the Lugias.  After the capture was complete, I threw the Pokeballs into the air, and the two Lugias came back out of their Pokeballs.  "Now that is settled, I guess I am ready to start my adventure!" I said as I was about to leave the backyard.

"Kyle!" my mom cried out as she walked up to me with her wallet in her hand.

"Yes?" I asked.

"I am going to help you in every way.  I am going to give $100, but spend it wisely," my mom told me.

"Okay, mom.  I will not spend this money until I have about $2,000," I told her.

After hugging her quickly, I left home to start my new adventure.  I quickly returned my Pokémon to their Pokeballs.  It did not take long until I ran into someone.

"Watch where you are going!  What a second, Kyle, is that you?!" Fredrick asked excitedly.

"Yeah.  Why do you ask?" I asked him.

"Dude, you are a Pokémon Trainer!  How?!" he asked.

"Hold on.  I need to make a call," I told him while dialing Prof. Oak's number.

I told Prof. Oak to come down here because I found out a friend of mine wants to become a new trainer.

Prof. Oak arrived with a suitcase in his hands, which I assumed the starter Pokémon were inside.

"Hello there Kyle!  Ah, you must be Fredrick!  I am Prof. Oak," Prof. Oak told Fredrick.

"So, what brings you here, professor?" Fredrick asked.

"No time.  I am currently being followed," Prof. Oak told Fredrick.  "Now, choose a Pokémon."

In the end, Fredrick ended up with a Charmander as his starter Pokémon.  He then received five Ultra Balls.  I then decided to buy some supplies from Prof. Oak since he was here.

He then left after saying goodbye to us.  After he left, Fredrick asked, "So, what Pokémon did you get?"

"I did not technically get them. They wanted me to get them," I told them with a concerned look on my face.

"Told you?" Fredrick asked.

"Yes.  In fact, two Pokémon asked me," I replied.

"Well, why don't you show me," Fredrick told me.

"Alright, but you might want to back up?" I told him.  I threw my Pokeballs in the air and my Lugias came out.  However, they were a little bit upset.

"Sorry about putting you two in your Pokeballs earlier.  I should have warned you," I told Lugia and Silver.

'It's okay.  We forgive you since it was an accident," Lugia told me.

"Fredrick, meet my two Pokémon:  Lugia and his son Silver," I told Fredrick.

"Wow!  Now, I didn't see that one coming!" Fredrick exclaimed.

"I figure you would say that.  Now, how about we find some other people to battle if we can find them?" I asked.

"Let's go then!" Fred exclaimed.

Chapter 6 - Paul
Saturday, 12:26 PM EST - Mackinaw City, Michigan

As we walked down the street, I ran into another person.  I knew that this was another trainer.  Luckily, I had my Lugias in their Pokeballs.

"Watch where you are going!  Hey, you are new.  I have not seen your faces before at all," he said.

"We are just a couple of new trainers, Paul.  Ash has told me about you.  How about a battle?  Two on one Triple Battle?" I asked.

"You better not be a waste of my time!" he said as he sent out an Electrivire, a Torterra, and a Weavile out.

"Come out Silver and Lugia!" I yelled.

"Go Charmander!" Fredrick yelled.

The battle was fierce.  In what way you may ask?  Silver and Lugia ended up not getting hurt at all.  On Fredrick's side, however, his Charmander almost fainted a couple of times being that it is only a Level 5 Pokémon.  In the end, we ended up beating Paul.

"You just lucked out!" Paul yelled.

"We won fair and square.  Now, you know the rules.  You must pay me a curtain amount in this currency," I told him showing him a One Dollar Bill.

"Fine.  Here.  Keep the change," Paul granted.  He then walked away from us with an angry expression on his face.

"Kyle!" Ash yelled from behind me.  "We say how you handled that battle!   However, do not listen to Paul because is a jerk. Everyone that I met calls him that!"

"Thank you Ash for this valuable information," I replied.  "Now, excuse me for I have a mission to accomplish."  Then my iPod started playing "One" by Metallica.

I then took Lugia and Silver out of their Pokeballs again.

"Do you need something?" Lugia asked me.

"Yes.  I need you to fly Fredrick and I to where the Team Rocket is hiding," I told Lugia.  "They are either on Mackinaw Island or they are across the bridge."

"I suggest that we should go to Mackinaw Island first.  There seems to be no boats leaving for the island.  I know that is normal in the winter, but in the summer is not a good sign," Lugia replied.

"Lets go then."

"Right."

Chapter 7 - The Second Encounter
Saturday, 2:45 PM EST - Mackinaw Island

We arrived at Mackinac Island to only see it has become abandoned.

"How in the world did this happen?" I asked myself.

"Don't know.  All I know is that they are in the forest nearby," Lugia replied.  "Try not to get caught."

"Right."

After I recalled Lugia and Silver, my iPod started to play "Burn It to The Ground" by Nickelback.

We climbed up the hill and I saw a Celebi in the sky heading for the forest.  However, as it was heading for the forest, it was grabbed by a claw.

"YOU AGAIN!" I yelled.

"Who do you expect?!  Santa Clause?!" Meowth yelled.

"Santa Clause is not real!  He does not even exist!"

"Now, get out of here or we will take you into custody!" James yelled.

"LUGIA!  FREE CELEBI!" I yelled as Lugia came out of his Pokeball.  After that, Lugia Aeroblasted the claw and Celebi fell down.

"I coming to save you Celebi!" I yelled.  After I said that, I caught Celebi in my arms.

"Celebi, are you okay?" I asked.

It only nodded in reply.  Then, Silver came out of his Pokeball.

"Kyle, I would like to speak to Celebi alone for a minute," Silver told me.

"Okay.  That's fine by me!" I said.

As I was walking away, I had this feeling that I was being followed and watched.  That was until my cell phone rang.

"Hello?" I said.

On the other end was Prof. Oak.  "Hello, Kyle.  I have great news! I just built a PC Storage System for you that can hold over 600 Pokémon.  This may be a lot of space, but I am sure you will use it wisely."

"Thanks Professor.  But how am I going to be able to get the Pokémon I want?" I asked.

"It is easy.  I am on a helicopter heading towards your current location, so I will explain it all when I arrive."

"Okay, that will do.  I will see you when you get here.  Bye."

After the call ended, Fredrick asked, "So, what does Prof. Oak have for us?"

Then, suddenly, a helicopter landed and Prof. Oak stepped out.  "The PC Storage System, of course.  Now, if you excuse me, I need to help construct Pokémon Centers here.  If there is no Pokémon Centers, then how will you be able to heal your Pokémon?" Prof. Oak asked us.

"Let the Pokémon rest?" I said nervously.

"Correct you are," Prof. Oak replied.

"So, how many Pokémon Centers are built so far?  I already know that there is one in New York City and Tokyo, Japan, but they are not actual representations of a Pokémon Center?" I asked.

"Two already in the State of Michigan.  There also PokeMarts here as well.  The only one is in Mackinaw City," Prof. Oak replied.  "Now, I have to go and monitor progress on the Pokémon Center that is being built with a PokeMart inside."

"See you later!" Fred and I replied and then we left to find my Pokémon.

Chapter 8 - Celebi Joins the Team
Saturday, 4 PM EST - Mackinaw Island

After we set off, I bumped into Lugia.

"Lugia, have you seen Silver?" I asked.

"Yes, he is over with Celebi.  Why do you ask?" Lugia asked curiously.

"Well, I think he is convincing Celebi to join our team," I replied.

Just then, Silver came back with Celebi.  He then spoke to us, "Celebi wants to join us as long as he stays with Fred to balance out number of Pokémon."

"Sure, that would work for me," Fred replied.  He then through one of his Pokeballs at Celebi.  Celebi was instantly caught.

"Lets go then.  Wait!  Something is not right here!" I exclaimed.

"What is wrong?" Silver asked.

"We are being followed," I replied in a whisper.

"By who?" Fred asked in a whisper.

"I don't know, but I know that my gut says we are being followed, and usually my gut is right," I whispered back.

As we moved along, I then started to get the feeling of being watched.  All great!  Now I got "Somebody's Watching Me" by Rockwell feat Michael Jackson.

"Whose watching me that is not in this group?" I asked.

No answer.  Just pure silence.  Then, I heard an answer.  It was my dad's voice.

"Kyle?  Is that you?!" he said opening a shop door.

"Dad?  What are you doing here?!  You are going to be killed by Team Rocket.  Speaking of which, where is their base?" I asked him.

"It i-i-i-s-s..." he all but managed to say.

"Dad, what is wrong?" I asked him out of curiosity.  He then pointed to the two Lugias behind me.  "Oh, these are my friends.  Dad, I would like you to meet Silver and Lugia."  My father was then frozen in fear because of the size of Lugia.  "Dad, they will not harm you.  In fact, they are friendly!" I told him.

I then saw a Zigzagoon out of the corner of my eyes.  I threw an ordinary Pokeball at the Zigzagoon, and it became captured.  I then gave my father the Pokeball.  "Dad, take this Pokémon because if you happen to get caught without a Pokémon on your way home, you will be referring yourself," I told him calmly.  "Okay?"

"Thank you, son.  This is the best gift I ever received!" my dad replied with tears of joy coming out of his eyes.

I then left to go north towards the Team Rocket headquarters.  The fort was on the island, however, there are many hostages in there.  I did not know what to do.

Chapter 9 - School Days Is Bad News
Monday, 6 AM EST - Mackinaw City, Michigan

I had to wake up on Monday for school at an early time.  I could not go back to Mackinaw Island like I did on Saturday and Sunday.

Silver and Lugia were allowed to sleep in my room as long as they did not wreck the house which has only a basement and a main floor.

"Good morning Silver.  Good morning Lugia," I said to them yawning afterwards.

"Good morning Kyle," Lugia and Silver said in unison.

"Hey, listen, I cannot bring you two along today because if I do, then I might be expelled," I told them.

Then, Lugia just raised his hand and said in a monotone voice, "You will bring us to school today."

After a few seconds, I said in a monotone voice, "I will bring you two to school today."

I saw my father in the doorway all dressed for work and laughed after he said, "These are not the droids you are looking for."

I just shrugged my shoulders and got dressed for school in the bathroom.  What?  You think I would dress myself in front of my friends?  No thank you.

I ate breakfast and ran out the door with Lugia and Silver behind me.  I then realized That instead of taking the bus, I could fly on Lugia to school.

"Lugia, do you mind if you fly me to my school?  I am not running late if you do fly me," I asked Lugia.

"I do not mind at all my dear friend," Lugia replied.

I then hopped on his back and within 7 minutes, I arrived at school.  In fact, I was not late, nor was I on time, but early!

"Wow!  My bus does not arrive until 5 minutes from now!" I told Lugia while thanking him.

Then, I this watching feeling from not Lugia and Silver.  Instead, it came from two different people or creatures.  I just shrugged it off, and I petted Lugia and Silver while feeding them some fish for breakfast.

After Silver and Lugia ate, I told them, "I cannot have you being seen around inside the school during school hours.  They might kick me out if they catch me!  Therefore, for now until my lunch break, you are going to have to stay in your Pokeballs.  No harsh feelings, right?"

"No harsh feelings at all, Kyle," Lugia and Silver replied.

I nodded my head and returned them to their Pokeballs.  I then walked into the school and headed for my locker.  When I arrived at my locker, Dan Canaerham, the school bully was behind me only 50 feet away.

"Well...well...well...look who we have here?  It is Kyle the Pokémon Trainer!" he said followed by his trademark evil laugh and evil grin.

"Dude, knock it off, okay?  I do not want you to hurt me.  So, let me go, and lets act as if this never happened," I said to him in a calm voice.

"Looks like he is trying wimp out!  Show me what you got in those toys!" he mocked.

"They are not toys!  They are the actual thing!" I told him back as calmly as I could.

"Prove it!"

"I do not want to get in trouble nor do I want to get anyone hurt!  It is too dangerous!"

"He is right!" Fred said as he came in the doors and past the crowd.  "It would expel anyone who is watching right now if we released them!"

I then saw a gap and I ran for it.  Somehow, Dan managed to block it.  "Show me them, or I will make you show me!" Dan yelled.

"Knock it off!" a girl said.  She had gold eyes as pure as if they came from actual gold bars.

"Who are you?" Fred and I asked.

"Your one way ticket away from this fight!  Now, come on!" she exclaimed.

We then followed her wherever she went, and after we made a 180 degree spin into a classroom, she said, "I think we lost him."

"Yeah, totally.  Now, we did not catch your name," I told her.

"Right!  Sorry about that!  My name is Lilly Rockwell.  No, I am not related to the singer Rockwell," Lilly said.  "I also have a brother.  Tim, come out if the shadows!  They are not like fleas!"

Tim came out from the other side of the room and walked up to us.  Oddly enough, he had red eyes.  I never have seen a person with red pupils before in my life.

"My apologies.  My name is Tim Rockwell, Lilly's brother.  Now, explain to me what happened out there," Tim told us with a monotone voice.

I told him about how Dan and what not did to me.  I also told him how Dan was tormenting me to pick a fight with him, however, I managed to keep my cool.

"Interesting.  Now, you better head off to class.  If you did not, you would be tardy for your homeroom.  Luckily, we have similar schedules, so we might see each other in some of our classes."

"Right.  Anyways, nice to meet you Tim and Lilly," I told them.

"You too, Kyle and Fred!" Lilly yelled to us.

Chapter 10 - Morning Classes
Monday, 8 AM EST - Mackinaw City, Michigan

My classes are sluggish and have since First Hour.  When it was Second Hour, I noticed that Tim and Lilly were in the classroom.  I wonder why they were not in the classroom before?  When Third Hour arrived, Fred, Lilly, Tim, and I were in the same class.

During Third Hour, I noticed Lugia's Pokeball shaking.  I wondered what was wrong, but then I realized it was due to the amount of time he was in the Pokeball.  It was going to be lunch after class ended.

Everyone else was taking their tests except Tim, Lilly, and I with Tim and Lilly being the first ones done.

'Come on clock!  Only one more minute!  You can do it!' I thought to myself.  Then, at long last, the bell rang.

I walked into the cafeteria and I saw Fred waiting for me.

"Hey Fred!  How was that Biology Test?" I asked him.

"It was fine, I guess," he said.

"I see Lilly and Tim," I said as I motioned for them with just a short wave of my hand.

"Hey Tim and Lilly.  So, do you want to head Fred's favorite spot to eat outside?" I asked Tim and Lilly.

"Sure, that would be great since the inside of this place is already packed," Tim replied.

"Great!  Lead the way, Fred!" I told Fred.

We headed to a corner of the building where nobody would see us because it was about 25 feet along.

"So, are you going to show us what is inside those two Pokeballs that you brought with you?" Lilly asked.

"Yes...I guess," I replied.

Chapter 11 - The Revealing
Monday, 11:52 PM EST - Mackinaw City, Michigan

I reached over for the Pokeballs on my belt and I through them up above the four of us.  Then, Lugia and Silver came out.

"Thank you, Kyle for letting us out right now.  If we did not get out, I would have not flown you home as guaranteed," Lugia told me.  "And who are these two, Kyle?"

"Lugia, Silver meet Lilly and Tim," I told Lugia and Silver.  Tim and Lilly were wide-eyed in awe and confusion.  "On Saturday, Lugia and Silver wanted me to catch them because Silver told his father, Lugia, how I saved his life from Team Rocket."

"It is true!  Silver witnessed it!" Silver exclaimed with happiness and then he licked my face.

"Silver, you are going to give us away!" I said while rolling on the floor laughing as Silver licked me.

"ROFL-ing.  The best kind of joy there is," Fred said.

Everyone chuckled at this.  Then, I told Lugia and Silver, "I will let you guys back out in about 1.5 hours from now.  Until then, I will miss you," I said to Lugia giving him a hug.  This made everyone, except Lugia and I, go wide-eyed.

I then returned the two Lugias to their Pokeballs and we headed to our Forth Hour.

Chapter 12 - A Startling Surprise
Monday, 2 PM EST - Mackinaw City, Michigan

After school got out, I realized that Lilly and Tim were behind me.  "Do you two need anything?" I asked them.

"Yes," Tim said.  "We need to show you something, but not here.  Can we do it at your home perhaps?" Tim asked.

"Sure, that is fine by me.  Fred is coming along, too.  Would you mind if he knew as well?" I asked them.

"No, we just want to show only you and you alone," Tim replied.

"Okay," I replied.  Then, my cell phone rang.  This was not good because it was Fred.  "Fred?  Is there something wrong?"

"No, there is not anything wrong.  It is just that I can fly home with you because my parents are taking me out to dinner when I get home," Fred told me.

"Its okay, buddy.  Its not your fault.  Plans sometimes get in the way of stuff that you want to do," I told him.  "Listen, I got to head home right now.  I will call you later.  Bye," I told him.

I then went to where nobody would see us, and Tim, Lilly, and I hopped onto Lugia's back and we headed to my house.  About 8 minutes later, we landed in my backyard.

"Well, here we are.  My mother and father are at work right now, and I have no other siblings.  We should be alone," I told them.

We stepped into my house, and Tim spoke, "Your room with the blinds closed is the best location for this."

"Right," I replied in a simple manner.

We went into my bedroom, and I closed the door and blinds.  I then said, "Anything else?"

"Have your Pokémon out as well," Lilly told me with a concerned look on her face.

I did so, and then I asked, "Anything else?"

"No.  That is all.  Now, just stay there, and don't move," Tim told me.

I nodded in reply and all of a sudden, Lilly and Tim vanished and in their place was a Latios and a Latias.

"What the?!" I exclaimed with an astonished look on my face.

"It can't be!" Silver and Lugia said with the same look on their faces.

"It is," Latios said telepathically to Silver, Lugia, and I.

"When you left that room where you and Fred met us, I noticed that your heart was pure kindness and once I told my brother this, he was astonished. However, when I told my brother about Fred's jealousy for you having Lugia and Silver, Latios realized that your friend would be your enemy in the future.  And his predictions are always right," Latias told us.

"What!  I never knew Fred was jealous of me at all!  Maybe that is why he did not want to come over with me every so often like he normally did," I said as I lowered my head.

"That is correct, Kyle.  That is why it is your destiny to rescue, befriend, and capture us from Team Rocket.  If they capture even a single Legendary Pokémon, they will rule not only your world, but our world as well," Latios told us.

"Dang!  So, wait a second you both wanted to be captured by me?" I asked.

"Yes, and in turn, you would be able to hold all of the Legendary Pokémon without one going into your PC," Latias said.

"Deal."

Then, I threw out two of my Master Balls and the caught Latios and Latias.  Now, I have Moltres, Articuno, Zapdos, Mewtwo, Ho-Oh, Kyogre, Groundon, Rayquaza, Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina remaining as far as I know.

Chapter 13 - Less Legendaries to Catch
Tuesday, 7 AM EST - Mackinaw City, Michigan

As I arrived at school the next day, I decided to let Latios and Latias out, or Tim and Lilly, because I am thinking that they are enrolled at the school.

"So, are you truly enrolled at the school?" I asked Latios and Latias.

"No, we are not enrolled, otherwise, you would see us in your school yearbook," Latias said.

"Good.  Now, instead of me going to school, I am going to sign a school business form stating that I can be out of school.  I already picked it up and got it signed.  I just need to turn it in, and then we can go see what Team Rocket is up to!" I told them.

"You do not need to do that for I have already notified everyone, Kyle," Prof. Oak told me.

"I am glad that you would do that for me, but don't scare me like that because I thought I aged exponentially!" I told him as I turned around.

"I came to tell you that not all the Legendaries are here," Prof. Oak said with a frown on his face.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"Groudon, Kyogre, Palkia, Giratina, the 3 Legendary Birds of Kanto, and Mewtwo have not been reported here on this planet yet.  Only Dialga and Rayquaza have been spotted," Prof. Oak warned me.

"I understand.  So, where do I find them?" I asked.

"Their locations change because in this world, the do not have a home."

"Okay, and what happens after I encounter it?"

"Catch it before it runs away."

"Of course!  Now I get it!  Thank you Prof. Oak!"

I waved goodbye to him, recalled Latias and Latios, and I sent Lugia out to fly to Mackinaw Island to fight off Team Rocket.

Chapter 14 - Rayquaza and Dialga
Tuesday, 12:24 PM EST - Mackinaw Island

While I was flying on the back of Lugia, I saw Rayquaza in the sky.  It was also very furious, and how I know you may ask?  The Rayquaza was charging its Hyper Beam!

"Lugia!  Look out!  Its Rayquaza!" I yelled out.

Lugia turned around and said, "We are trying to stop Team Rocket!  We are not part of it!"

Rayquaza just stopped charging its Hyper Beam.  It then roared so loudly that it could wake up people on the sleeping side of the world.

Lugia then said, "He will not harm you, otherwise, he would have done so right now."

Then, Dialga appeared out of nowhere.  I gulped because there were now two Legendary Pokémon watching me!  Now, from my perspective, Dialga and Rayquaza were having a conversation.  I did not want to interrupt it for I fear that I might get blasted into the far reaches of space.

After a half hour,  I saw that they were looking at me.  I gulped that I realized that this is the end of days for me.

"Lugia, if I don't survive, please take good care of my parents," I told him through almost a whisper.

"They not going to kill you.  They want to help you win the battle against Team Rocket," Lugia told me.

"Thank goodness!" I said being relieved that they will not kill me.

I then through my remaining Master Balls at the two Legendaries.  I knew that they were caught.  Just in time because an Helicopter with a Team Rocket logo on its tail fin appeared.

"Surrender now, and no harm will be done!" a Rocket Grunt yelled.

I then threw the Pokeball containing Rayquaza, and after Rayquaza came out, I told them, "Tell your leader that I am after him.  Understand?"

The person in the helicopter just flew off.  I flew after him because it would lead me to his base.  I then recalled Rayquaza so that it could not be seen.

Chapter 15 - The Final Showdown
Tuesday, 2:45 PM EST - Team Rocket Headquarters

I followed the helicopter all the way to the building.  I stopped and then flew into an open window, which I find odd.  However, I did not realize that the leader of the base was none other than Giovanni himself.

"Well, I see that you finally managed to get here in time!" Giovanni yelled.  "Go my Pokémon!"

He released all of his Pokémon at once.  I did the same.  In the end, I ended up winning.  How can you not win with powerful Legendary Pokémon on your team?

"Gah!  You may have won, but I will have my revenge someday!" Giovanni yelled and then disappeared.

Then, out of nowhere, Silver flew onto me.  "Silver happy that Kyle happy!  But, Silver a little bit sad," Silver told me.

"Why are you sad, Silver?" I asked.

"Silver don't want to leave you!" Silver exclaimed.

"You don't need to.  In fact, I am buying my own mansion because of the money that is here.  I am just going to confiscate it.  I will NOT be stealing," I said to Silver.

Then, Lugia said to me in a monotone voice, "You already have enough money."

"I already have enough money," I replied in a monotone voice.

"You must go home now," Lugia said in a monotone voice.

"We must go home now," I said in a monotone voice.

The flight home was rather going to be exciting.  I cannot believe Pokémon are now real.  In fact, they just set up a Pokémon League here in Michigan!  I got the Michigan gym badges and defeated everyone including the Elite Four.  I am not the champion because the hero does not become the champion easily.

Prologue
Saturday, October 17.  11AM EDT.  Mackinaw City, Michigan

"Good morning Lugia and Silver," I said to them.

No answer.  I then remembered that they were in their Pokeballs.
"I guess I will start my day then," I told myself.  I headed downstairs and I did not see my mom nor my dad.   "This is weird.  Nobody is here."

I then got myself some cereal and shortly after I finished, I went straight upstairs to get my belt containing my Pokémon.   I decided to let my Pokemon out, but when I did, they were sleeping, which I found rather odd because none of my Pokemon sleep in this late.  I decided to take a shower.  However, before I could take a shower, I saw a creature that just made me scared for my life.

I ran back into my room, closed the door and said, "Kyrem is in my house!  We have to get out of here now!"

They all sprang up, and Lugia said, "We are on it."

As we left my house, I saw the mast destruction that Kyrem has caused.   "Oh my.  This is no ordinary disaster.  This is destruction that you could only see in the movie "I am Legend" with Will Smith," I said.

TO BE CONTINUED…
This is the Prequel to Day of Destruction. It is currently being written, and I hope you will enjoy this story because if you enjoy this, then you will love Day of Destruction.

I do not own any pokemon used or characters from the pokemon games and shows.

I do own the story and the plot, though.
