Lugia VS Shadow Lugia: Control Over the World

Long ago, the universe was in a state of balance between the two forces of good and evil.  However, balance does not last forever, for yet another reason why humans are malevolent.  I have not yet introduced myself, but you may have heard of me in the past:  my name is Lugia.  Just recently, a person that I saw has bought a Lugia Plush, but not the classic Lugia Plush, for he bought a Shadow Lugia Plush.  Over time, they developed a friendship that includes violence and almost two deaths.  However, that Shadow Lugia has now merged with the human to become a real life Shadow Lugia in flesh and bone.

(Author's Note:  Please refer to this site:  Battle Music)

While I was flying one day, I saw the Shadow Lugia at the news station.

"I would make anyone obey me with the power to take over the world," the Shadow Lugia said to itself.

"That is because you are forcing them to do so," I replied.

I shocked him so badly that he almost jumped back into the air.

"So, you are the Lugia that is watching over this area?  This will be good," Shade replied.

The battle started out with me firing my Aeroblasts, and the Shadow Lugia using its Shadow Blasts.  They collided with each other resulting in a huge explosion.  I was also knocked unconscious, but when I regained consciousness, Shade the Shadow Lugia was gone.  (Author's Note: End of battle music.)

I was checking my surroundings and I found out that I was not anywhere near the TV station at all.  In fact, I am over 300 miles away due west of the TV Station!  What was even more odd, there was a bunch of people around me while keeping their distance standing in awe at me.  This is possibly because the people who live in this town have not seen an actual Lugia.  I also knew that they were televising this.

"Do not fear me, for I will not hurt you," I told the crowd.

Then I saw someone spotting me with an angry expression and blurted out, "Hey!  It is that creature who wants to enslave humanity!  We should burn him!"

I then sighed and said, "I am not the creature that wants to enslave you, for I am the entire opposite of the creature.  The creature that wants to enslave you is over 300 miles from this exact spot at a TV Station, which is less than a one-day drive by car.  I am the only one who can stop him, but I need your help."

"Well, how can we help?" an old man asked.

"That is good question and I have a solution for this:  I will put you into groups based upon age.  The groups are collectors, which are all people under the age of 18; workers, which is everyone from the age of 28 to 65; troops, which are in the range of 18 to 27; and last but not least, the refreshed group, which is everyone above the age of 65," I announced.  "The roles of each group are simple: the collectors will gather any old soda cans or anything made of pure metal.  The workers will have the task of forging the metal into ammunition.  The troops will assist the United States Armed Forces and will help me defeat Shade.  The role of the refreshed group is rather different:  this group does not have any role whatsoever because they have already retired.  So what are you waiting for?  Let us start working."

Meanwhile at the Pentagon, they were hearing every word that I was saying to a small community.

"Mr. Defense Secretary!  I have news for you!" a analyst told him.

"You have news for me about what we can do in this situation?" the Defense Secretary replied.

"Yes, in fact, I just got intel that 105 Tracer Rounds can pierce the skin of our enemy easily," the analyst replied.

"Where did you get all of this from?" the Defense Secretary questioned.

"It came from a well, creature of high intelligence named Lugia, sir," the analyst replied.

"Info from the ally, is it now?  This is perfect.  I want you to tell the President to bring home the troops because we are on the verge of slavery!" the Defense Secretary replied.

Back in the small town, the mayor commissioned to build a statue in my honor of visiting this town made of blue and white marble.  He even renamed the town in my honor.

"Thank you, for I am honored to bring peace to this town in these hard times," I told everyone.  "In fact, I hereby subject myself to select one of you to in whom I will give a new form of life.  Here in my hand are two feathers from my body.  On this day two years from now, the town of Lugiaville, Iowa will see me again and two people of a young age will receive the feathers becoming the town's guardians.  I will not release any other information for that I may spoil the events to come."

"Farewell Lugia, and may you bring peace back to the country!" the mayor exclaimed.

I nodded back in reply and I changed my form to fit into a car that the town bought for me.  They even had it painted customary just to match my looks.  The car I received was a 2011 Dodge Charger.

As I drove off, I realized that some people were following me.  I decided to pull over, and I asked them, "Why are you following me?"

"Because we are your troops.  We only serve to you to fight for our freedom and to secure our rights," a young man said.

"My brother is right!  We need to overthrow this power greedy Shade before it is too late!" a young girl commenting on what her brother said.

I could easily tell who would be the new guardians of the town when they arrive home.  After I thought that over, I told the siblings, "You two then will lead my army."

"It would be an honor to be the leaders of your army, Lugia," the two siblings said.

We then all got back in our vehicles and we were given an escort by the State Police.  I then decided to play a CD I found in my car when I received it, and put it in.  It then started playing the themes of the routes if the Pokémon world routes:  the world that I originated.

We arrived back in Michigan after a 9-hour drive; however, there were things that were wrong.  Nobody was on the highways or roads anywhere in the state.  Not only that but some of the bridges were crumbled leaving us stuck sometimes.  When we managed to reach Detroit, it was a wasteland as if a Hydrogen Bomb went off.

"What happened to this place?" I asked myself.  "Arceus help us."

After we managed to escape the inner city, we finally reached the finishing stop.  Our target wad to stop about 10 miles away from the TV station because the visibility was only two miles.

"Everyone, stay put!  I am going to contact the Air Force," I whispered to everyone while changing into my true form.

'Blackbird, blackbird do you copy?' I asked mentally.

I then received a radio transmission.  'Motherbird, we copy, over,' they replied.

'Prepare to use 105 Tracer Rounds.  Target is marked five clicks west of my location by red flare at my area,' I said while producing a flare.

'Roger that.  We see the flare and we are firing red hot, over,' the people in the aircraft replied.

"Charge!" I yelled as every individual who came with me fired their guns loaded with tracer rounds at the target area.  "Leaders!  Need a quick meeting!"

"Yes, Lugia, sir?" they asked.

"I have known you two since I first saw you.  I want to let you know that I have selected you two as the new Guardians of Lugiaville.  However, for the ceremony, I need your names.  What are they?"

"Right, we did forget to mention our names!  Well, my name is Clara Longwell and this is my brother Joe Longwell.  Joe is older than me by one year, so that is pretty much it," Clara stated.

"Thank you Clara and Joe.  You two shall be one of the town's most reliable Guardians," I told them.

"Thank you, sir," they replied back.

They then ran back towards the scene of the battle.  When I arrived, everyone stopped firing.

(Author's Note: Here is the Battle Music from this point on)

"Well, well, well.  If it is not the good Lugia who has became a hero already to others.  How doubtful do you think you are when you send these pathetic excuses to help you weaken me? Face it:  you WILL lose!" Shade yelled.

"No I will not.  That is why I came prepared," I told him.  I then threw an Areoblast at his head.

"That has weakened me slightly, so that is why I CAME PREPARED AS WELL!" Shade yelled.  He was then charging his final attack:  Shadow Finish.  His body, however, only has enough power to do one of it.

"Clear the area!" I yelled.  Everyone except my leaders, who were very confident individuals, ran away.  I than charged my last Aeroblast and then I hit him square in the neck.

Shade gasped for air and collapsed to the ground.  "Farewell, Shade.  Your fate was always to be determined as this," I told him.

Shade than woke up, and was surprised to see that I was in front of him.

'Oh my! I think I should tell him,' Shade muttered in his thoughts.

"Lugia, this is not the right time for this, but I AM YOUR TWISTED SON!" Shade yelled.

"NO.  NO.  NO, THIS CANNOT BE!" Lugia yelled.

"Oh, but it is. Cipher did this to me all those years ago which resulted in our first death.  But here we are back where we were from last time," Shade said.  "Just imagine what we could do if we BOTH were this way!"

"Death and destruction is always NOT the answer!" I said to him.  "I am sorry that I have to do this, but I have no other choice."  I then began to focus my powers and the my eyes glowed blue and I focused my powers to separate the Shadow Lugia from the unfortunate human.  Once I did so, I realized which one of the two was the plush.  I then signaled the crowd and told them, "Do whatever you want to him.  I have more urgent matters to take care of."  Suddenly, the crowd around me started shooting down Shade.  As I went to pick up the human, I saw that he was about to use a Shadow Blast.  I then teleported him to the air about 1,000 feet off the ground, and fired the Shadow Blast.  He did not yet realize that he was falling until my physic abilities caught him.

(Author's Note:  End of Battle Music)

"I am going to have to remove your suit, sir, for you are filled with tremendous amounts of hate and anger," I told him.

"You would not dare!" he yelled. Resist all he wanted, I managed to get his mask, shirt, and wings off.  When I go to the pants, however, they would not budge.

"Hmm.  Suicune could easily fix this," I muttered to myself.  Somehow, a portal opened up, and I saw Palkia with Suicune coming out of the portal.  He then roared, and then used his healing powers to heal the human.

So began the purification process.  After Suicune purified every article of clothing without taking the shadow in, he jumped back through the portal, and the portal closed immediately.  I then went to investigate the clothing.  The clothing looked exactly like my color both inside and out.  I handed them back to the man and I asked, "Are you willing to change your destiny for the greater good?"

He replied with only two words: "I'm ready."

"Very well," I replied as simply as I could be at the time.

He put the clothing back on and when he did, a column of light shot up from where he stood.  After about a minute, the boy's height remained, but his age was changed drastically.  I then realized who I was fighting when this boy was a Shadow Lugia.

"Father, is that you?" the young baby Lugia asked.

"Yes, Silver.  I have brought you back after what Cipher did to you many years ago," I told my son.  "Come, I have to show you what you could have missed."

All of my ground troops then headed back to their vehicles and I changed back to my human form to get in mine.  Silver, on the other hand, went in the seat next to me.  We drove off heading back to Lugiaville, Iowa and on our way there, I was listening to the radio, which was playing a song I eventually came to like called "New Divide" by a band called Linkin Park.  It reminded of me fighting against my son's shadow side from what Cipher did to him.  I then started to cry tears of joy while it started to rain outside.

"Father, why are you crying?" Silver asked.

"I am just happy to have you back, son," I told him while stopping the car at the town square.

Silver and I then parted our way out of the vehicle and I returned to my true form.

"The task was finished, and I also realized who I was fighting," I told the crowd.  "Who I was fighting was a twisted and distorted version of my son."

Everyone was in shock.

"He is safe now, and will not be able to harm anyone because he has been purified through one of the abilities one of my friends has:  the ability to purify," I told everyone.  "Now, important announcement.  I have selected the two guardians of Lugiaville.  I met them first when I was driving to Detroit, even though I barely left this town however.  Clara and Joe Longwell, please come forth to the podium."

They did so, and once they came up here, I said, "I have selected these two for a reason.  It is not only due cause that they are siblings, but it is what I saw inside of them.  They possessed the exact quantity and quality of guardians such as myself.  They are the ones worthy because I saw that they have determination, pride, and leadership: something in which we should all have.  Bring forth the feathers!"

The brought the case and I pulled out both feathers.  I then said, "These feathers are the symbol of what your guardians will do for you.  Joe and Clara Longwell:  are you ready to fulfill your destiny?"

"We are ready," they both replied.

"Very well.  Just place the feather on your arm, and the feather will do all the rest," I told them.

They did, and then oddly enough for humans they began to float in midair.  Then, right where they were, a ball of light formed around each of them.  It then stopped and the lowered to the ground with their eyes closed.  They then opened their eyes and I knew what I turned them into: Latias and Latios.

"These are your new Guardians:  Latias and Latios.  May they serve the people of this town well," I told them.

The crowd then cheered at what I said, and I then signaled Latias and Latios to follow me.

"Now, listen carefully because this is very important, but confusing," I told them quietly.  "No matter how many times you are killed, you will always be brought back into the world.  That means if you die from something, you will only create a Soul Dew.  However, when the Soul Dew is created, you will be reborn.  Understand?"

"Yes, sir," they replied.

"Good.  Now, I must go back to my job guarding the seas," I told them.  "Come on Silver, we are leaving for our home."

After that, my son and I lived together again and nothing would separate us again.

END
This is my first ever Lugia vs. Shadow Lugia story ever. I hope that I did a good job, even though it is short. Enjoy!

I do NOT own any Pokemon or songs used in this story.

I DO own the plot and the story itself.
